Mindfulness

For the last 3 weeks a former principal named Jan carey has been coming to our class on Wednesday. She was so passionate about mindfulness that she gave up her principal job and decided to teach students/adults about mindfulness.

I think the most important thing about mindfulness is keeping focused, because that was the thing I tried hardest to do. The last week was my favourite because Jan gave us Maltesers but there was a catch, we had to save it.  She made us look at it, she made us smell it and she made us put it in between our lips.  It was torture, it was so hard that some tears came out my eyes. The best bit was when she let us eat it.  Next she brought out some chilli but she didn’t let us have some and I like chilli.  That’s the end of my post.  Thank and please leave a comment.

What is a class?

It’s helping, yelping, planing & scanning.

It’s learning, concerning, working & blurting.

It’s waiting, debating, managing & panicking.

It’s imagining, making, faking & taking.

It’s relaxing & labouring, most reassuring.

It’s forgiving, living, mending & depending.

It’s cleaning, living also including.

It’s loving, dobbing, sobbing, & chomping.

It’s hugging, squeezing, talking & teasing.

It’s needing, feeding, tactful conceding.

That’s what makes a class
